MRS. CONRAD  IS  DEAD  AT  HOME

          Mrs. Maggie Conrad,  83, widow of  Fred Conrad,  died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday at the Whitaker convalescent home after a long illness.
          Born in Harrison, Ohio on December 12, 1859, she was the daughter of  Jacob and Maggie Huffman.  Her marriage to  Thomas Cunningham took place in 1879.  Seven children were born to this union, two of whom survive.  Shortly after her marriage she moved to Shelbyville, where she has since resided.
          Mr. Cunningham died in 1897.  She was united in marriage to Fred Conrad on May 19, 1905.  His death occurred in 1928.
          Surviving are two children,  Harry Cunningham,  of Shelbyville, and  Mrs.[Mayme] Asher Milner,  of Fairland, and one sister,  Mrs. Sophia Dewherst,  of New Brighton, Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
          Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Edwards & Kohlmeyer funeral home.  The Rev. J.C. Klingeberger, pastor of the First Evangelical church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Had Lived In Shelbyville Some Time

BODY  TO  FUNERAL  HOME

          Frederick Conrad, age seventy-nine years, a resident of Shelbyville for a number of years, died Wednesday night at seven-fifteen o'clock at his home, 81 McKinley street.  His death was caused by dropsy and heart trouble, and followed a long illness.
          Mr. Conrad was a native of Kentucky.  He was born in that state November 27, 1848.  He was a member of the First Evangelical Church in Shelbyville.  Beisdes his widow,  Mrs. Maggie Conrad,  he leaves a son  Edward Conrad;  four daughters,  Mrs. Albert Copple,  Mrs. Fred Ford,  and  Mrs. Claude Fulp, all of Shelbyville, and  Mrs. Patrick Ryan, of Indianapolis, and a brother,  Frank Conrad,  of Falmouth, Kentucky.
          The body was moved to the Ralph J. Edwards funeral home in West Broadway, and funeral services will be held there.  Burial will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Funeral services will be held at the Edwards funeral home Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, Dr. D.E. Werner, pastor of the Evangelical church, officiating.
