Nina Davids, 96, of Waldron, died Monday, March 24, 2003, Waldron.March 26, 2003

Born June 13, 1906, in Tuscola, Ill., d/o James Louis and Fannie (Fleetwood) Hendry. Married Clarence Samuel Davids on Sept. 27, 1927; he preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1968.
Survivors include one son, Roy L. Davids of Waldron; one granddaughter, Julee Dunagan of Waldron; and two great-granddaughters, Ashley Dunagan and Abigail Dunagan.
Preceded in death by one sister, Vearl Callahan, and one brother, Millard Hendry.
Licensed practical nurse at Bartholomew County Hospital.
Moved to Shelby County from Columbus nine years ago.
Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, with the Rev. Cliff Bunch officiating.

William A. David, 67, Columbus, brother of a local man, died Thursday at 4:01 a.m. at the Bartholomew County Hospital. He was born May 28, 1916, the son of Art and Goldie David. He married Mildred Hunsucker Sutherland, on June 1, 1952.Friday, March 2, 1984

Surviving are his wife, a son, William David, Texas; a step-son, Jackie Sutherland, Columbus; and two daughters, Wilma Behrman, Seymour. and Vera Elkins, North Carolina. Other survivors include two brothers, Oran David, Shelbyville and Myron David, Columbus and two sisters, Pearl Lockridge and Lucille Manley, Columbus. Seven grandchildren also survive.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home, 11th and Washington Streets, Columbus. Burial will be in the Garland Brook Cemetary[sic] and friends may call at the funeral home today from 4-9 p.m. and Saturday 8:30-10 a.m.
