          Mrs. Maranda Dixon,  widow of  Thomas Dixon,  died at her home in Fairland Saturday last, aged seventy-five years and seven months.  Her maiden name was  Michaels.  She was the second wife of Mr. Dixon to whom she was married in August, 1874.  Mr. Dixon died in August, 1879.  She leaves no children.  Funeral services were held in the Baptist church in Fairland.
