DOROTHY  E.  DUNHAM

          Dorothy E. (Long) Dunham,  86, R.R. 3, Shelbyville, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Major Hospital.  Born Oct. 20, 1904, in Bartholomew County, she was a daughter of  William and  Minnie Florence (Millins) Long.  In 1922, she married  Samuel M. Dunham.  He preceded her in death June 10, 1954.  Mrs. Dunham had been a Shelby County resident since 1946.  She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband for many years.  She was a member of Shelby County Farm Bureau Co-Op.
          Survivors include seven daughters,  Mrs. Raymond (Juanita) Doan,  Trafalgar,  Mrs. Clyde (Wanda) Purcell,  Shelbyville,  Mrs. Owen (Audry) Barlow,  Ocala, Fla.,  Mrs. William (Carolyn) McClure,  Fountaintown,  Mrs. Larry (Glenda Gail) Cochran,  Indianapolis,  Mrs. Richard (Rosealeta) Neumann,  Hesperia, Calif., and  Mrs. Paul (Linda) Purcell,  Shelbyville; four sons,  Vernon Dunham,  Edinburgh,  Gene L. Dunham,  Morristown,  William K. Dunham,  Trafalgar, and  Donald M. Dunham,  Shelbyville; 42 grandchldren; and 41 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
          Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesdayat Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home.  Rev. Robin Perkins will officiate.  Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.
