DEATH  OF  WM. B. ELDER
----------
We regret to learn of the death of  Wm. B. Elder, of Fairland, in this county, who died quite suddenly at Lawrenceburg on Wednesday of last week, of hemorrhage of the lungs, and was buried at Boggstown on Saturday.  Mr. Elder was about 40 years of age and for the past ten or fifteen years had been a resident of Fairland, most of the time engaged in the mercantile business.  The fore part of last week he started for Dearborn county to visit his mother, and was seized at Lawrenceburg with that most fatal of diseases, hemorrhage of the lungs, which speedily terminated his life.  He was an exemplary citizen, kind, cordial and enterprising, and will be missed and his loss regretted by the citizens of Fairland.  He leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss.
