George M. Frost, 90, of
Shelbyville, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007.
Born March 25, 1917, Chicago, s/o Fred and Martha (Meyer)
Nelsen.
Adopted by Dr. Brady Frost in 1925.
Married Bonnie Skeen on
May 12, 1937; she preceded him in death in 1987.
Married Dorothy
Hirschauer on Nov. 27, 1999; she preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons, George Frost (wife, Gloria) of Shelbyville and
Robert
Frost of Indianapolis; grandchildren, George Jeffery Frost (wife,
Trudy) of
Noblesville, David Frost of Providence, R.I., Matt Frost (wife,
Leigh) of Oak
Ridge, Tenn., and Mark Frost (wife, Michele) of Shelbyville; and
great-grandchildren, Sarah Frost, Emily Frost, Lillian Frost,
Ashley Shuppert (husband, Sam) and Andrew Frost.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Donald Frost, Hubert
Nelsen and Ruben Nelsen.
Employed as a gauge designer for the Allison Division of
General Motors until retiring in October 1977.
Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Joe Social Club,
Fraternal Order of the Eagles, the Moose Lodge and the Varmit Club.
