"MRS. MARY  GROVER  DIES  HERE  TODAY

"Death Occurs at Home of Daughter, Mrs. S. S. Gardner
-- Funeral to be Monday

          "Mrs. Mary L. Grover, age eighty-seven, died at 8:30 a.m. today at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and  Mrs. S. S. Gardner, of 52 West Hendricks Street, with whom she had made her home for the past twenty-two years.  She had been ill for the past four weeks.
          "Funeral services will be held at the Gardner home at 2:00 p.m. Monday with Dr. J. W. McFall officiating. Burial will be made at Forest Hill cemetery, in charge of Edward & Kohlmeyer, funeral directors.
          "The daughter of  Louis H. and Indiana (Palmerton) Fairbanks, Mrs. Grover was born at Middletown on May 12, 1853.  She was married to William J. Grover September 6, 1877, and he preceded her in death July 31, 1928 [sic].  Three children were born to the union.  One died in infancy.  Surviving with the daughter are a son, Louis H. Grover, of Union township, a brother John P. Fairbanks, of Indianapolis, and several nieces and nephews living at Indianapolis and Greensburg.
          "Mrs. Grover was a member of the First Methodist church here having moved her membership from the Waldron Methodist church, which she joined in childhood.  She was a charter member of  the War Mothers."

"GROVER  CHILD  DIED  MONDAY  AFTERNOON
---------
          "Dwain Booher Grover, age three, son of  Mr. and Mrs. Louis Grover, died at the home of the parents Monday afternoon at three o'clock, following a short illness caused from intestinal trouble.  Besides the parents the child is survived by the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Booher, of Marion township; Mrs. Mary Grover, of Shelbyville, and the great-grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Meyer  of near Morristown.  Funeral services will be held at ten o'clock Wednesday morning at the Blue River United Brethren church.  Interment in Forest Hill cemetery."
