DIES  IN  HOSPITAL

Rites To Be Monday For
Lifelong County Resident

          Forrest D. Hupp,  56, lifelong resident of Shelby county and shipping and receiving clerk for Chambers Corporation, died at Major Hospital Friday afternoon.  He had been ill for the past 18 months.  A veteran of World War I, Mr. Hupp, whose ome was at 615 Elm St., was born on January 31, 1897, the son of  Samuel E. and  Mary Frances (Floyd) Hupp.  On January 24, 1918, he was married to  Frances Zeigler  who survives with a half-sister,  Mrs. Jessie Ropp  of near Franklin.  Mr. Hupp was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.
          Funeral services will be held at the Sleeth Funeral Home Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dallas F. Renn officiating.  Interment, in charge of Barkes and Inlow Funeral Home of Columbus, will be in the Miller cemetery.  Friends may call at the Sleeth Funeral Home here after 10:00 a.m. Sunday.
