DEATH  CLAIMS  MRS.  LORENZEN
Mother of Mrs. J. W. Dickmann Succumbs

          Mrs. Catharine Lorenzen, age eighty-three, native of Germany and mother of  Mrs. J. W. Dickman, died at the Dickmann home at 25 Walker St., at 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.  Death was caused by a complication of diseases.
          Mrs. Lorenzen, whose home was at El Reno, Okla., until she came to this city seven years ago, had been ill since December, 1945, and had been in a serious condition since February of this year.
          She was born on May 11, 1864, in Providence, Schleswig, Holstein, Germany, the daughter of  Theodore and  Margaret (Garmsen) Fedderson.  She came to the United States when she was 19 years of age.  She had been a lifelong member of the Zion Evangelical Church.
          On June 16, 1883, she was married in Dennison, Iowa, to  Jonas Lorenzen, who preceded her in death on October 14, 1940.  Surviving with the daughter at whose home she died are three sons,  Theodore,  Fred J.  and  Herman Lorenzen, all of Oklahoma.
          Friends may call at the D. E. Carmony funeral home in Manilla until today.  The body will be sent to El Reno where funeral services will be held.
