MRS. TULA  MARIETTA

          Mrs. Tula Marietta, formerly a resident of this city, is dead at her home in Parsons, Kansas. Word of her death having been received here Friday evening. She was the widow of Will Marietta, and they lived in this city for many years before going west.

          William Marietta,  aged thirty-eight years, five months and fourteen days, died at his home, No. 284 west Franklin street, Wednesday, Oct. 4, of typhoid fever.  Mr. Marietta is well known in this city, as he has been employed as night watchman for a number of years at the bent wood factory.  His death comes as a surprise to his many friends and realtives.  He leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss.  Funeral services will be held at the house at 2 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Mr. Harmon officiating.  Interment in City cemetery.  Funeral in charge of Oscar Hand & Son.

          Ollie E. Marietta,  daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Marietta, died at their home No. 248 west Franklin street early Sunday morning,July 23 after an illness of three weeks duration of scarlet fever.  Short services were held at the grave by the Rev. Mr. Pritchard.  Interment in the City Cemteery[sic] this morning at '10 o'clock. Oscar Hand & Son, funeral directors.
