Cleo "Mac" Wayne McDowell, 64, R.R. 6, Shelbyville, died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Regency Place Nursing Home, Greenfield.
Supervisor at KCL for 34 years, retired in December 1980.
Member of the 20-year Club, Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Disabled American Veterans and Eagles Lodge.
S/o  Azel and Ethel (Harwood) McDowell, he was born February 19, 1922, in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Married August 25, 1946, to  Vera Marie Hinkle,  who survives.  
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Karol) Carwein, Shelbyville; a son, Lt. Col. Jerry L. Henson, Springfield, Virginia; five grandchildren; and a sister, Katherine Paxton, Shelbyville.
Carmony Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Riggs officiating.  
Burial:  Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

SERVICE  FRIDAY

          Funeral services for  Mrs. Elizabeth C. McDowell,  who died Wednesday afternoon at her home in Geneva, will be held at the Methodist Episcopal church in Geneva Friday afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. James L. Brown to officiate.  Burial will be made in the Ogden cemetery, Stewart and Fix in charge.
          Mrs. McDowell was eighty-two years old.  Her death was caused by a complication of diseases.  Mrs. McDowell was a member of the M. E. church at Geneva.  She leaves one daughter,  Mrs. William Mount,  of Geneva; two sisters,  Mrs. Jennie Cook,  of Guliford[sic], Ind., and  Mrs. Rachel Eubank  of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two brothers,  Joseph Lonsberry,  of Witt, Ill., and  John Lonsberry,  of Guilford, Indiana.
