Rites for Mrs. Ada McGee
To Be Conducted Thursday

          Mrs. Ada B. McGee,  71, former resident of Shelby county and mother of  Mrs. Frances Compton  of Boggstown, died last night at 11:25 o'clock at the home of another daughter,  Mrs. Neva Smith  south of Acton.  She had been ill for 13 weeks.
          Mrs. McGee, whose home was at 2140 No Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, was born in Shelby county on March 10, 1879, the daughter of  Alfred and  Columbia Hoop.  On September 5, 1894, she was married to  Louis M. McGee,  who survives with four of six children born to the union.  A daughter died in infancy and another daughter,  Mrs. Vernon Keith  died in 1929.
          Mrs. McGee became a member of the Brookfield Baptist Church early in life.  With her husband and family she moved from the Boggstown community to Indianapolis in 1927.
          Surviving with the husband and daughters, Mrs. Compton and Smith, there are two sons,  John A. McGee  at home, and  Louis W. McGee  of Brazil.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren and six great-grandsons.
          Funeral services will be held at the Stirling Funeral Home in Acton Thursday at 2:00 p.m. and interment will be in the Acton cemetery.  Friends may call at the Robert Stirling Funeral Home in Indianapolis this evening and at the Stirling Funeral Home in Acton after noon Wednesday.
