Ruth E. (Tucker) McKamey, 77, Indianapolis, who had relatives in Shelbyville, died Friday.
Born Sept. 6, 1921, in Shelby County, d/o  Arthur J. and Rose (Larrison) Tucker.
Married to  Theodore W. McKamey, and he preceded her in death.
1940 graduate of Indiana Business College.
Executive secretary for 40 years, formerly with  Paul Kuhn and  Bob Baker  auto dealerships and most recently for 25 years at Blossom Chevrolet, all of Indianapolis.
Member of Irvington Presbyterian Church, Phi Delta Pi sorority and the Shrine Honored Ladies Association.  Member and past national president of the American Business Women’s Association and its Spirit of America chapter.
Survivors include a son, Pat McKamey, Fishers; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel.  Washington Park East Cemetery.
