Married Carolyn (Hagy) Niebel on Sept. 12, 1958.
Owner and operator of Niebel Engines Inc., Mount Auburn, since 1962.
Member of USAC for over 30 years, First Christian Church, Shelbyville, a past school board member and president of Southwestern School Corporation and also a trustee of Mount Auburn Cemetery Association.
Survivors: wife; mother, Shelbyville; 2 daughters, Mrs. James (Jan)
Meyer, Shelbyville, and Mrs. Dan (Jean Ann) Linville, Greenfield; one brother,
Gene Niebel, Mount Auburn; and eight grandchildren.
Preceded in death by one son and one granddaughter.
Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Crouse officiating.
Burial: Mount Auburn Cemetery.
