          W. Lorene Nolan,  of Upper Arlington, passed away at First Community Village on January 20, 2003.  Born March 7, 1911 in Shelbyville, Indiana.  She is preceded in death by her husbands  Joseph T. Davis  killed in action in WW II May 1945 and  George W. Nolan  of Columbus.  Lorene was active in many central Ohio charities throughout her life.  Lorene is survived by her 2 children,  Linda N.J. Szymanski  of Toledo, Ohio and  Robert G. Nolan  of Upper Arlington, Ohio; her grandchildren,  Jason T.L. Joseph  of Atlanta, Georgia,  Lane N.A. Joseph  of Charleston.
