DR.  D.  A.  PETTIGREW  DIED  THIS
MORNING  AT  HOME  IN  NORTHERN
PART  OF  STATE.

FORMERLY  OF  FLAT  ROCK

          Announcement was received here today of the death of  Dr. D. A. Pettigrew, former resident of Flat Rock, for a number of years, at his home in Logansport this morning at ten o'clock.  He was seventy-three years of age.
          The deceased had been a resident of Logansport for ten years.  He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Norristown and of the K. of P. lodge at Flat Rock.  His wife, Mrs. Matilda Pettigrew, preceded him in death last July.
          He is survived by three sons and three daughters.  They are  Dr. Charles Pettigrew, of Muncie;  Albert, of California;  Herman, of Logansport;  Mrs. Aurelia Smith, of Memphis, Tennessee;  Mrs. Ella Foot, of Hutchinson, Kansas, and  Miss Henrietta Pettigrew, at home.
          Funeral services will be held at the late home in Logansport on Wednesday afternoon.  Interment will be made in the Moravian cemetery at Hope.
