DIES  IN  ARKANSAS

Former Shelbyville Resident Suc-
cumbs Following Kidney
Ailment.

          Jacob Poszman,  81, former Shelbyville resident, died Tuesday in a hospital at Fort Worth, Ark., according to word received here today.  Funeral services were held at Oklahoma City, Okla.
          Mr. Poszman made his home here for several yeras prior to 1902, when he moved to Oklahoma City, and he returned here in 1915.  In 1924, he returned to Oklahoma City and since 1931 he had lived in Huntington, Ark.
          His death followed a long illness due to kidney trouble.
          Hi is survived by the widow, two daughters,  Mrs. W. A. Mann,  Oklahoma City, and  Mrs. Emma Bearden,  Wichita Falls, and a son,  Jack,  of Huntington, Okla.  Several more distant relatives live here.

DEATHS --- FUNERALS

          Elizabeth Phillips Possman  died at her residence in Hendricks township at 7:30 a.m. Friday, August 21st, 1908, of congestion of the lungs, aged seventy-nine years, eleven months and four days. She leaves two children, Frank Phillips, of Indianapolis, and  Mrs. Kate Metzger, of this city, and two sisters,  Millie Woodson  and  Fannie Kelley, of Kentucky. Funeral services will be held in the Baptist church in Smithland at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 1908, Rev. Clark officiating.  Interment in the Snyder cemetery in charge of Marshall G. Tindall.

          Lenora May, daughter of Jacob and Melvina Poszman, formerly of this city, died at their home in Oklahoma City, of diptheria, November 25th, being at the time of her death three years, four months and twelve days old. Mr. Poszman and family moved from here to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma two years ago this month.
