Death of Dock Pruitt
----------
Edinburg Courier.
This morning about three o'clock occurred the death of  Dock A. Pruitt,  one of Shelby county's highly respected young farmers.  Death was caused by typhoid fever together with other complications.  Mr. Pruitt, while living in the edge of Shelby county, was practically speiaking an Edinburg citizen belonging to several orders here and doing his business to a great extent in Edinburg.  He was an honest energetic boy and while the loss is deeply felt by the wife and other relatives his demise is mourned likewise by his lodge brothers and other friends.
He was a member of the Red Men, Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias and was about twenty-eight years of age.  He leaves a wife, mother and three brothers and two sisters to mourn his death and the sympathy of the community is with them in this hour of sorrow.  The funeral will be announced tomorrow.
