A special from Franklin Tuesday contains the following:
"William H. Ragsdale  died this afternoon at his home on East Adams street.  He was taken sick Thursday with typhoid fever.  This afternoon  Dr. W. C. Hall  was hastily summoned, and upon entering the room, found Mr. Ragsdale sitting in a chair with his head thrown back and to all appearance dead.  A slight flutter of the heart was perceptible and after the doctor’s arrival, and in a few minutes he was dead from heart disease.  He was forty-five years old and a native of Kentucky."  Mr. Ragsdale was well known in Shelbyville, and had many friends in this city and county.
