A heart attack caused the sudden death of Mrs. Hattie Riddle at her home on Shelbyville, R.R. 5, Saturday night at 10:00 o'clock. She was 77 years of age.March 24, 1952

A native of Shelby county, Mrs. Riddle was born on February 20, 1875.
SHE IS SURVIVED by the husband Samuel Riddle and eight step-children. The step-children are Mrs. Stella Scott of Nineveh; Mrs. Elva Misner and Mrs. Ocle Misner, both of near Columbus; Mrs. Helena Gommel of near Hope; Stanley Riddle, near Greenfield; Marvin Riddle, Hartsville, and Morton Riddle of near North Vernon.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Hope. Burial will be in the Bennett cemetery in charge of the Norman Funeral Home of Hope. Friends may call at the funeral home.
