Mrs. Agnes H.
Salter, 85, R. R. 2, Shelbyville, died at 5:15 a.m. today at Major Hospital.
Born May 2, 1912 in White House, Texas, the daughter of Robert H.
and L Lucy Tomlin.
Married in Chester, Pa., in 1937 to Frank Salter, who survives.
Also surviving: father, of White House, Texas, and three sisters, Mrs.
Joe (Thelma) Walker and Miss Evelyn Tomlin, both of
Tyler, Texas, and Mrs. Raymond (Berniece) Woods, Port Arthur,
Texas.
Lived in Shelby County since 1956. Prior to that, she lived in
Indianapolis and Rochester, N.Y.
Murphy Mortuary with the Rev. Jack Barnett Haskins officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
