Peter Schoeppel, 83, died Friday 7:30 p.m., Rushville.
Retired farmer; lifelong resident of Shelby County.
Lived with sister, Mrs. Clara Arnold, 1703 S. West St., Shelbyville.
S/o  Peter and  Anna Maria Schoeppel, born December 4, 1875, Marion township.
Survivors:  sister; brother, F. O. Schoeppel, South Bend.
Services:  Sleeth Funeral Home, Dr. H. R. Page officiating.
Burial:  Forest Hill cemetery.

Susie Schoepfel Dies in Hospital
          In ill health for several years,  Miss Susie Schoepfel, who had resided at 262 E. Franklin St. since childhood, died Tuesday night at 10:00 o'clock at the Robert Long hospital in Indianapolis.  She had been confined to the hospital for the past 14 weeks.
          Miss Schoepfel was born in Cincinnati and was the daughter of  George  and  Elizabeth (Posz) Schoepfel.  She was employed as bookkeeper at the former Conrey-Davis furniture factor for 25 years and later was employed in the offices of the  Schmoe  furniture factory and the Union Building Loan.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
          SURVIVORS  INCLUDE  a sister, Miss Kate Schoepfel, and three nieces,  Miss Louise Schoepfel  and  Mrs. Robert Ford,  of this city, and  Mrs. Mary Freeman,  of St. Louis, Mo.
          Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Charles Ewing mortuary with Dr. Charles A Bowler officiating.  Burial will be made in Forest Hill cemetery.  Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:00 p.m. today.
