MURRAYVILLE -- Bird Sibley, 83, Four Seasons Health Center, Columbus, Indiana, formerly of Murrayville, died Wednesday morning in Shelbyville, Indiana. She was a nurse for many years in Shelbyville before her retirement.

Mrs. Sibley was born June 6, 1893, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Blimling. She married Ralph Sibley in Jacksonville October 4, 1920, and he died in September of 1967.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Burke, Detroit, Michigan; two sisters, Mrs. Amy Rook, Belleville, and Mrs. Pearl Johnson, Farmington, Missouri; a brother, Dale Blimling, North Liberty, Indiana; one grandchild and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Mrs. Sibley was a member of First Presbyterian church in Shelbyville, Indiana.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Ewing Mortuary in Shelbyville, Indiana.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Murrayville cemetery, Reverend Gardner Winn officiating.
