Eighty-seven, Dies at Home of Daughter

Funeral Tuesday Morning

          Several months of illness due to complications of diseases incident to senility resulted in the death at 11:40 o’clock Saturday evening of  Mrs. Elizabeth Stotsenburger, eighty-seven years of age, at the home of a daughter,  Mrs. Will Morrow, in Adams township, Decatur county.  Mrs. Stotsenburger was born near St. Paul, March 18, 1843, the daughter of Joseph and  Lavina Sanford.  Her marriage to  George W. Stotsenburger took place sixty-one years ago.  Of six children born to them, three survive;  Mrs. Morrow,  Mrs. Grace Scripture of St. Paul, and  Joseph Stotsenburger, of near Greensburg.  Mrs. Stotsenburger also leaves seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Her husband died many years ago.  She was a member of the United Brethren church.  The funeral service will be held in the Star Baptist church, Decatur county.  Tuesday morning at 10:30 o’clock, the Rev. Miss B. M. DeCroes of St. Paul officiating.  Interment will be in the family lot in the Star cemetery, in charge of C. F. Fix and Son.
