Aged Lady Passed Away at Home In Waldron
----------
          Mrs. Mary M. Tevis, 82 years old, widow of the late Dr. Joel T. Tevis, died Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at her home in Waldron.  Her death was caused by apoplexy.  She had been ill since Sunday morning.
          Mrs. Tevis had been twice married, her first husband, a Mr. Barton having been killed in the Civil war.  Dr. Tevis died about 30 years ago.  She was a member of the M. E. church at Waldron.
          Mrs. Tevis is survived by one son, Elmer Barton,  and one daughter, Mrs. Edward Berauer, both of Waldron; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Wilkes of Shelbyville, and Mrs. Thomas Stansifer of Waldron and one brother William Newton of west of Waldron.  She was an aunt of  Harry McLane,  Thomas McLane and  Mrs. Maggie House, all of this city.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Stewart & Fix, who are in charge.

TEVIS  FUNERAL  SERVICES

          Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mary M. Tevis, who died Monday at her home in Waldron, will be held at the home of her son, Elmer Barton, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The Christian Science service will be used.  Burial will be made in the Ogden cemetery.

          (Indianapolis-) Dr. Joel Tevis,  who has been confined to the city hospital for some time, died yesterday.  He was a brother of  Rev. John Tevis,  of this city.

The remains of  Dr. Joel Tevis  were buried this afternoon at the City cemetery.
