Cicero M. Throckworth the deaf and dumb shoemaker, died at 1:10 p.m., Dec. 2, 1903, of dropsy, at the age of 55. Deceased came here in 1877, working all the while for the Fred Stephan Shoe Store up to five weeks ago when he was taken sick. In the 26 years of employment at Stephan Shoe store he worked six weeks at Manilla, Ind., and one week at Cincinnati, O. He leaves a mute wife and three children who can hear and talk.
