Jess Trester, Brother of
Mrs. Emma Rinehart,
Passes Away.
----------
          Jess Trester,  82 years old, died at the home of his daughter,  Mrs. Paul Gullian,  in Adams, Sunday morning.  He had lived in Adams in Decatur county for the past five years, going to that community from Dearborn county.  For the past four year[s] he had been in failing health but he had been bedfast only one week.  Death was caused by influenza.
          The deceased was born Aug. 1853, and on Dec. 24, 1899 was united in marriage to  Miss Lena VanOsdol,  who preseded[sic] him in death fourteen years ago.  Four children were born to this union but on ly two,  Mrs. Paul Gullion and  Martin Trester  of Adams, survive.  Other survivors are three sisters,  Mrs. Emma Rinehart  of Shelbyville,  Mrs. Rhoda Baker  of Aurora, and  Mrs. Alta Yeager  of Hartford, Ind.
          Funeral services will be held at the Adams M. E. church Tesday[sic] morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. John Kennedy of Greensburg officiating.  Burial will be in the Moores Hill cemetery in Dearborn county in charge of Clark Wilson of St. Paul, funeral director.
