Brother of Local
Woman Dies In Ohio

          Mrs. Henrietta Forster  of W. Locust St. has received word that her brother,  Edward Vogt  of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Friday night at a nursing home in Cincinnati.  Surviving with the sister here is a niece,  Mrs. Bernard Wright.

Walkerville Community Dies At Home

          Leonard Vogt, 86, native of Wittenberg, Germany, died at 12:45 yesterday at his home a 538 Frank street.  Mr. Vogt came to this country in 1884.  In [Nov 12] 1893 he was united in marriage to  Mary Magdaline Metz.  To this union three children were born.  One daughter,  Mrs. Rose Ivie, died in 1927.
          Survivors besides the widow are two daughters,  Mrs. Carl [Marie] Scripture  of Connersville, and  Mrs. Roy [Freda] Walton,  to Temple City, California.  Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.  He also leaves five children by a former marriage.
          He was a member of the First Evangelical church of this city.
          Funeral services will be held at the late home at 10:30 o’clock Monday morning with the Rev. C. Klingeberger, pastor of the evangelical church officiating, assisted by the Rev. Josephine B. Huffer, pastor of the Trinity Methodist church.  Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery in charge of  L. V. Hauk funeral director.  Friends may call any time after noon today.
