          William Wherritt  died at Greenwood Monday and funeral services were held at that place yesterday.  The body was then taken to Connersville, where interment took place today.  Deceased was a cousin of  Frank Wherritt  and of  Mrs. James C. Bennett,  of this city.  A number of years ago he was a partner of  J. ?. Akers  in the enterpirse of platting an addition of Kokomo known as the Akers-Wherritt addition.

          Mrs. Hannah Wherritt died at the home of her son, Mr. Frank Wherritt, No. 95 West Broadway, at 3 o'clock p.m. October 16th, age 74 years.  The funeral services were held at the Winchester church at 10 o'clock a.m. Sunday.  The cortege will leave the house at 9 o'clock sharp.  Cummins & Edwards, funeral directors.

          Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wherritt  wish to return their heartfelt thanks to the many kind friends who assisted them during the last sickness of their daughter,  Effie.  Their kindness will ever be remembered.
