Hugh B. Wickizer, 83, Shelbyville, died Monday, Dec. 14,
2009, at home.

Born May 6, 1926, in Monticello, White County Indiana, to Donald J. and
Helen (Boggs) Wickizer.
Married Mary Breedlove on June 22, 1952; she survives.
Other survivors include his sons, Karl Wickizer (wife, Anne) of
Huntsville, Ala., Gregory S. Wickizer (wife, Mona) and
H. Eric Wickizer
(wife, Kim), both of Shelbyville, Kirk Wickizer (wife,
Sheryll) of Nederland, Texas, and J. Bradley Wickizer (wife,
Davenport, Iowa; sister, Helen Jean Theis (husband, F.W.)
Pittsburgh, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Wickizer Jr.; and one great-grandchild.
Owned and operated Tippecanoe Press from 1950 until retiring in 1991.
U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1950, with a degree
in business administration.
Member of First United Methodist Church, Rotary Club, Blue River Elks
Lodge and Unique Club.
Gathering of friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Knights of Columbus,
413 E. South St.
