In the Shelby Circuit Court August Term, eighteen hundred and forty four
The grand Jurors for the State of Indiana, empanelled, sworn, and charged to
enquire within and for the body of the County of Shelby aforesaid, upon their
oath present that Mary Spurling late of said County, on the Eighth day of July
in the year Eighteen Hundred and Forty four with force and arms in said county,
did then and there with one Sarah Randolph mutually agree to fight together, and
did then and there in pursuance of said agreant unlawfully fight with said Sarah
Randolph in a public place to the terror of the Citizens of said State then and
there being assembled.
