BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 4th day of October 1859, the same being
the second judicial day of the October Term, of the Shelby Circuit Court, before
the Honorable R.D. Logan, sole Judge of said court, the following proceedings
were had towit:

Complaint for divorce No. 115
Thomas J. Wood
Come the parties by counsel and thereupon this case is submitted to the Court
for hearing and determination upon the complaint and answer aforesaid, and the
court after examining all and singularly the proofs find the allegations in said
complaint to be true. It is therefore ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court
that the marriage contract heretofore existing, between the said plaintiff be
and the same is hereby dissolved, annulled and held for naught as if the same
had never been consummated and said plaintiff and defendant are hereby divorced
and it is further ordered by the Court that the said plaintiff do have the care
and custody and control of the infant children the fruits of said marriage and
that she have the possession of all the personal property of which they were
possessed during coverture, and said defendant is hereby enjoined and restrained
from interfering in any manner with said children or the personal property of
said defendant. And said plaintiff is ordered to pay the costs herein.
