          KNOW  ALL  MEAN  BY  THESE  PRESENTS,  that we  One[sic] M. Bassett  and  William N. Bassett  &  J. M. Bassett  are firmly bound unto  Emma C. Salla,  Melvin N. Salla,  Edwin C. Salla  and  Emma C. Salla  as Executrix of the last will and testament of  Margaret E. Salla,  deceased, in the sum of $1000.00, for the payment of which well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally and firmly by these presents.  Sealed and dated this 3rd day of January 1903.
      The condition of this obligation is such that whereas the said  Ona M. Massett[sic]  has instituted in the Shelby Circuit Court proceedings to contest the validity of an instrument of writing, purporting to be the last will and testament of  Margaret E. Salla,  deceased, and to revoke the probate thereof.  Now if said contestor shall duly prosecute said proceedings and pay all costs therein adjudged against her by said Court, they this obligation to be void, else to remain in full force of effect.
