            Austin Clark complains of John French and says that the defendant on the ____ day of _____ 186_ by his note a copy of which is filed herewith, promised to pay John S. Moore One hundred and twenty five dollars, on or before the twenty fifth day of December 1861 who endorsed the note to Franklin Collins who endorsed the note to the plaintiff, which remains unpaid, and the plaintiff demands judgment for Two Hundred dollars.

            $125.00 On or before the Twenty fifth day of December Eighteen hundred and sixty one I promise to pay to the order of John S. Moore One Hundred and Twenty five dollars for the North East quarter of the North East quarter of section Six (6) in Township Eleven North of Range six (6) East containing Forty four acres and 45 hundreds of acres situate in Shelby County, Indiana.
