Be it Known, that on the third day of April A.D., 1854, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court, before the Clerk thereof, Jacob Deitzer an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Germany aged about twenty two years, and owes allegiance to the Gros Harzog of Hessen Dormstadt that he emigrated thence, embarked at Harve De grace and arrived at New York in the United States, on the 31st day of April A.D., 1852 and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever All Allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Ludwig Gros Harzog of Hessen Dormstadt.

County of Shelby:SS.Be it Known, that on the 29th day of October A.D., 1852, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court, before the Clerk thereof, Nicholas Deatzer an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Germany, aged about 40 years, and owes allegiance to the Groch Hartzhoch of Hepen Dormstadt that he emigrated thence, embarked at Havre de Grace and arrived at New York in the United States on the 27th day of April A.D., 1851 and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever ALL ALLEGIANCE AND FIDELITY to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State of Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Ludwig Groch Hartzhoch of Hepen Dormstadt.
Sworn and subscribed the 29th day of October 1852.
