Koch

            Be it Known, that on the 12th day of October A.D., 1852, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court, before the Clerk thereof, Ludwig Koch an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Germany, aged about 34 years, and owes allegiance to the King of Napan in Germany that he emigrated thence, embarked at Bremen and arrived at Baltimore in the United States on the 17th day of June A.D., 1848 and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever ALL ALLEGIANCE AND FIDELITY to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State of Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Harzog King of Napan in Germany.

            Sworn and subscribed the 12th day of October 1852.

            In Testimony Whereof, I Jacob Vernon, Clerk of the Shelby Circuit Court, hereunto set my name and Seal of Said Court the above date.
