Be It Known, that on the lst day of November A.D., 1852, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court, before the Clerk thereof, Thomas Lauless an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Ireland aged about 28 years, and owes allegiance to the Kingdom of Great Britain & Ireland that he emigrated thence, embarked at Liverpool in England and arrived at New York in the United States, on the 30th day of April A.D., 1846 and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever All Allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Victoria Queen of Great Britain & Ireland.
Sworn and subscribed the 1st day of November 1852.
