Be It Known, That on the first day of September A.D., 1852, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit court before the Clerk thereof, John Miller an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Baiern in Germany aged about 24 years, and owes allegiance to Baiern in Germany that he emigrated thence, embarked at Bremen and arrived at Baltimore in the United States; on the day of November A.D., 1842, and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever All Allegiance And Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Maxmillian 2d King of Baiern in Germany.
Sworn and subscribed the 1st day of September 1852.
In Testimony Whereof, I Jacob Vernon Clerk of the Shelby Circuit Court, hereunto set my name and the seal of said Court the above date.
