Mulligan

            Be it Known, that on the 29th day of July A.D., 1852, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court, before the Clerk thereof, Edward Mulligan  an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Ireland, aged about thirty six years, and owes allegiance to the Victoria Queen of Great Britain that he emigrated thence, embarked at the City of Dublin in Ireland and arrived at New York in the United States on the tenth day of May A.D., 1845 and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever ALL ALLEGIANCE AND FIDELITY to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State of Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Victoria Queen of Great Britain and Ireland.

            Sworn and subscribed the 29th day of July A.D. 1852.

            In Testimony Whereof, I Jacob Vernon, Clerk of the Shelby Circuit Court, hereunto set my name and Seal of Said Court the above date.
