          Be It Known, that on the 1st day of November A.D., 1852, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court, before the Clerk thereof,  Samuel O Connor  an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Ireland aged about 29 years, and owes allegiance to the Kingdom of Great Britain & Ireland that he emigrated thence, embarked at Londonderry and arrived at Philadelphia in the United States, on the 20th day of May A.D., 1847 and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever All Allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Victoria Queen of Great Britain & Ireland.
          Sworn and subscribed the Ist day of November 1852.

          In Testimony Whereof, I J. Vernon Clerk of the Shelby Circuit Court, hereunto set my name & affix the seal of said Court the above date.

          Be it Known, that on the fifth day of October A.D., 1852, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court, before the Clerk thereof,  Thomas O'Conner  an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Ireland, aged about 26 years, and owes allegiance to the Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland that he emigrated thence, embarked at Londonderry and arrived at Philadelphia in the United States on the 21th day of May A.D., 1847 and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever ALL ALLEGIANCE AND FIDELITY to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State of Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Victoria Queen of Great Britain and Ireland.
          Sworn and subscribed the fifth day of October 1852.
