...Peter Neeb late of said County, on the third day of August Eighteen hundred and
fifty three, at the said County of Shelby in the State of Indiana, did unlawfully and feloniously and knowingly,
utter, tender pay and put away to one Joab Thurston then and there being a certain false
forged and counterfeit Bank note, purporting to be a ten dollar Bank note. On the State Bank
of Ohio, which said false forged and counterfeit Bank note, is as follows, that is to say

He the said Peter Neeb then and there knowing the said note to be a false forged and counterfeit
Bank note, and then and there unlawfully and feloniously did publish, utter, pass and put away to the said Joab S. Thurston
in manner and form aforesaid, with intent then and there to defraud the said Joab S Thurston.
