Transfer  of  Steam  Saw  Mill

James Baker  of the County of Shelby and State of Indiana do hereby for and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred Dollars to me paid, assign transfer and set over to  Jacob Vernon  of the County and state aforesaid, all my right title interest and claim of in and to a certain Steam Saw Mill built on the land of  Thomas McFeran  of the County and State aforesaid by  Jesse Adams and Company,  And I said Baker Being one of said Company. The said Vernon to have and to hold the same together with all the rights privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, his heirs and assigns forever in as full and ample a manner as I held the same myself and said Vernon is to pay all debts and liabilities of said Company that I would be liable to pay if this transfer had not been made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and seal this 27th day of September A.D. 1847
