Deed
to
John Cline
This Indenture made this Eleventh day
of February AD One thousand eight hundred & thirty three by &
between John Johnson & Parmelia his wife both
of the County of Shelby and State of Indiana, of the one part and John
Cline of the County and State aforesaid of the other part,
Witnesseth that said John Johnson in Consideration of Two hundred dollars
to him in hand paid by the Said Cline the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have Granted Bargained and Sold and by these presents do Grant Bargain and Sell
unto the Said Cline his heirs and assigns forty acres of land Situated in
Shelby County and State of Indiana To wit the North
half of the East half of the Southwest Quarter of Section Twenty Three Township
Twelve North of Range five East, In the district of land offered for
sale at Indianapolis Indiana. Together with all and Singular the
advantages, privileges and appurtenances whatsoever to the Said forty acres
belonging or appertaining thereunto To have and to hold the Said forty
acres of land with the tenements, hereditaments, and all the Singular the
premise herein before mentioned unto the Said John Cline his heirs and assigns
forever to & for the only proper use and behoof of the Said Cline his heirs
and assigns forever and the Said John John & Parmelia for themselves their
heirs the Said forty acres be the same more of less with al the premises and
appurtenances before mentioned unto the Said Cline his heirs and assigns
Executors and administrators forever free from the claim or claims of them the
Said John Johnson and Parmelia his wife, their or either of them or their heirs
and of all and every person or persons whatever Shall will and do Warrant and
forever defend the Same. In witness whereof the Said John Johnson and
Parmelia his wife have here unto Set their hands and Seals the day and year
first above mentioned.

Before me the undersigned a Justis of the peace within and for said County
personally came John Johnson & Parmelia John his wife the within Grantors
and being examined agreeably to the acts in Such Case made and provided
acknowledged the above Indenture to be their voluntary acts and deed for the use
and purposes therein contained.
