This Indenture made the twenty sixth day of October in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three between Miles
Hall and Elvira his wife of the county of Shelby in the state of Indiana of
the first part and Daniel F. Randolph of the county of Shelby and state of
Indiana of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part
in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty five dollars of
lawful money of the United States to them in hand paid by the said party of the
second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
sold aliened enfeoffed [?] and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell
alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being
situate in the county of Shelby and state of Indiana it being the North
half of the North East Quarter of section fifteen Township eleven N. of Range
six east containing eighty acres be it the same more or less.
Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtanances thereunto
belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and Reversions Remainder
and Remainders Rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title
interest claim or demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either
in Law or Equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said
hereditaments and appurtanances. To have and to hold the premises above
particularly mentioned and described to the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns forever. And the said Miles Hall doth for himself his heirs
executors and administrators covenant and grant to and with the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns that he the said party of the first part
is lawfully seized in fee of the aforesaid granted premises that they are free
from all encumbrance that he has good right to sell and convey the same to the
said party of the second part as aforesaid. And that he will and his heirs
executors and administrators shall Warrant and defend the same to the said party
of the second part his heirs and assigns forever against all Lawful demands of
all persons.
In witness whereof the said Miles Hall and Elvira his wife
have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Personally came before me one of the Undersigned Justices of
the peace of said county the above named Miles Hall who acknowledged that he did
voluntairily sign seal and acknowledge the above deed of conveyance for the
purposes therein mentioned. Also came Elvira his wife who being examined
seperate and apart from her said husband acknowledges the above deed of
conveyance to be her voluntary act and deed and Relinquished her right of Dower
to the same. And that she did of her own free will and accord sign seal and
acknowledge the said deed for the purposes herein mentioned without fear
coercion or compulsion from her husband.
