            To all to whom this present writing shall come, I, Levi Cagley of Johnson County & State of Indiana send Greeting: Whereas by one indenture bearing date the fourth day of November, in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty four Isaac Hildebrand son of Elizabeth Hildebrand did put himself apprentice unto Levi Cagley aforesaid for the term of four years nine months and three days from the 4th of Nove 1844. And, whereas, differences have arisen between the said Isaac Hildebrand & Levi Cagley. And, whereas the said Levi Cagley at the request of the said Elizabeth Hildebrand the Mother (Father being dead and no legal Guardian appointed) and Isaac Hildebrand the apprentice, hath discharged the said Isaac Hildebrand from hi service, and the said Indentures are delivered by the said parties and canselled. Now therefore know ye, that the said Levi Cagley, hath remised, released, and forever discharged, and by these presents doth for himself, his heirs, executors, and administrators, remise, release, and forever discharge the said Isaac Hildebrand and Elizabeth Hildebrand of & from the said indentures of apprenticeship and all service and other matters and things therein contained on their or either of their parts to be performed and of and from all actions & causes of actions, suits, specialties, covenants, contracts, agreements, claims, and demands whatsoever for and concerning the said indentures of apprenticeship &c.
            In witness whereof the said Levi Cagley hath hereunto set his hand and seal this 15th day of September 1845.

            Be it remembered that the within named Levi Cagely came this day personally before me, the undersigned One of the Associate Judges of the Shelby Circuit Court and acknowledged, that he signed, Sealed, and delivered the within discharge as his Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned.
