Township 12 Range 6

We the undersigned Trustees Elected and qualified for the Congressional township No 12 North of Range No. 6 East and having appointed William H Fleming Clerk of Said township, and he being duly qualified as the law directs proceded to Subdivide the Section reserved for the use of schools in the Township aforesaid and to fix the minimum price to each division as followeth to wit: the North West quarter is divided into two equal parts by a line running from East to West and the price fixed to each part is one dollar and twenty five cents per acre The South West quarter is divided into two equal parts by a North and South line the price fixed to the West half is one dollar and twenty five cents per acre and to the East half one dollar and fifty cents per acre The North East quarter is divided into two equal parts by a line from East to West and the price fixed to each part is two dollars and fifty cents per acre. The South East quarter of Said Section is divided into two equal parts also by an East and West line and the price affixed to the North half is three dollars and fifty cents per acre and to the South half two dollars and fifty cents per acre, and whereas there is unexpired leases on the whole of the above Said Section and none of them have been cancelled we therefore direct that the Commissioner procede to Sell the Said Section subject to the leases as directed by law.

We the undersigned Trustees Elected and qualified in and for the Congressional township No 12 North of Range 6 East believing that the minimum price affixed to the North half of the South East quarter of Section Sixteen in the Township aforesaid is more that it will sell for, and believing also that it would be to the interest of the township to dispose of Said half quarter Section for what it will readily bring do hereby fix the minimum price to the said North half of the South East quarter of Section Sixteen in the township aforesaid at two dollars and fifthy cents per acre; and direct the Commissioner of the School lands of Sheby to offer the aforesaid half quarter Section for Sale at the minimum price above fixed. Given under our hands and Sials this 3d day of December 1829
