STATE OF INDIANA
SHELBY COUNTY, SS:
Leonidas Stubbs being duly sworn before the Clerk of the Shelby
circuit court of the County aforesaid, upon oath says that Zephaniah Stubbs
departed this life in said county, intestate, as he believes, on the 10th day of
May 1878; that said Zephaniah Stubbs left a personal estate to be administered,
of the probable value, as he is informed and believes, of Eight Hundred dollars:
and further says not.

Dear Sir:
As it appears that the personal property belonging to Father’s estate is
not sufficient to pay his debts and desire that you rent the farm for next year
as we think this would be better than to sell any part of the land for that
purpose.

Said decedent left him surviving as his only heirs surviving the following
named persons towit:
George W. Stubbs,
Alazanah Mann (formerly Stubbs), Mary Colsher (formerly
Stubbs), Elizabeth Gregory (formerly Stubbs), Benjamin F. Stubbs,
Harvey Stubbs, Lonidy Stubbs and John Stubbs, and said administrator further shows that he has
made full distribution of the surplus of said Estate among said heirs in the
following proportions towit:
