Personally appeared before me William Louden, a Justice of the peace in and for said County James Robertson Administrator of the estate of Alexander Robertson deceased and Henry Fisher and John Howell appraisers of said Estate and being duly sworn the said Henry Fisher and John Howell say that the above and within Inventory and appraisement as signed by them is a just and true Inventory and and valuation of the Goods, Chattels and effects of the said Alexander Robertson to the best of their Judgment And the said james Robers says that the above and within is a true Inventory of the personal Estate of the said Alexander Robertson as far as the same has come to his hands to be administered.

I, Samuel Walker present the

whereas Alexander Robertson on the 14th day of April 1831 made his certain writing obligatory or Deed to Samuel Walker for a lot of land in the town of Shelbyville known as lot No. 13 on Franklin street, in which said deed the said Alexander Robertson covenanted to warrant and defend to the said Walker the title to said lot aforesaid, and where as before the making and delivery of said deed as aforesaid the said lot No. 13 had been sold for taxes, and by reason of said sail for taxes as afore said the purchaser became the legal oner of said lot, the said Alexander not being the oner, this said deed, (the consideration for which was fifteen dollars.) conveyed to said Walker no title or right to the lot aforesaid, by reason whereof the said Walker hereby claims against the Estate of said Alexander Robertson, late of Shelby County, deceased, for his damages in consequence of the failure of title in the Alexander Robertson the sum of fifty dollars. May 18th 1835
