my claim as the Widow of said decedent.

For value
received we the undersigned do assign and transfer to
Samuel J. Strickler
of
Shelby County Indiana all our right title interest and claim in and to the
personal Estate of Abraham Cosler late of Shelby County Indiana one of the
undersigned to wit;
Mary C.
Carson, being the daughter and heir of said
deceased, and we do hereby authorize and empower the said
Samuel J. Strickler
to ask for and demand of the administrator of said Estate or in whose hands the
same may be in said interest in said personal Estate, and upon the receipt of
the same to receipt for same, and by so doing the same shall operate in full
discharge of said administrator, or in whosoevers hands said interest may be
found.

whereof we have hereunto set out hands and seals this Thirtieth day of July

& substitute to William Gordon all my right and interest in and to the
share of James Carson & Mary C. Carson – late Mary C. Cosler, in & to
the personal estate of Abraham Cosler deceased, and hereby substitute in my
stead the said William Gorden, to all my rights under and in persuance of the
within instrument, to ask & demand of the administrator of said estate or
in whosoever hands said interest may be found, all such sum or sums of money as
I might do in virtue of the within writing & to receipt for the same as
fully as I might or could do myself. August 21st 1860.
