           Be it Remembered, that on this first day of May 1874, Landy H. Branson personally came before me the undersigned Clerk of the court of Common Pleas of Shelby County, who being duly sworn by said Clerk, deposes and says that David Brown departed this life intestate at Shelby County, Indiana on the 28" day of March 1874; that said decedent left a personal estate to be administered of the probable value of one hundred & 25 Dollars, as he is informed and believes, and further saith not.

Branson respectfully represent and state to the Court that on the 28 day of March 1874 said Brown departed this life intestate while a resident of Shelby county Indiana and that afterwards towit on the 1 day of May 1874 he was appointed Admr of the Estate of said David Brown dec'd. That as such Admr he is chargeable as pr inventory with

         He further states to the Court that he paid the sum remaining for distribution towit Thirty four dollars and 89 cents to the Clerk of the Court for distribution among the heirs of said decedent and taken his receipt for the same which is filed herewith as a part hereof. That he has collected all demands in favor of said Estate and paid all demands against the same and has fully Administered upon said Estate and he asks that this Report be confirmed and that he be discharged as such Adminr. All of which is very respectfully submitted.

Mary Brown, possibly a daughter of David, born about 1812 in OH; I have such a Mary married to John Holbrook.
